Acts 2:46 And day by day, continuing with one mind in the Set-apart Place (corporate worship in the temple), and breaking bread from house to house (meeting in the homes), they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, (47) praising Elohim and having favor with all the people. And the Master added to the assembly those who were being saved, day by day.

So now we’ve come to the time in our unpacking of the vision where we reveal the strategy that may represent the most change to our current meeting practices and way of operation. It’s time to roll out a new and exciting emphasis we believe will facilitate “book of Acts” style growth and expansion in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and where you are as well. 

In the above passage, we see the early congregation’s model of worship being large corporate gatherings (in the temple) and many smaller, more intimate, meetings in the homes. Triumph In Truth/Triumph Family has always embraced larger corporate gatherings and house to house ministry, however, our emphasis has always been on our larger corporate gatherings each week with less emphasis on the home gatherings. It’s time for this to change. 

The early congregation of belief in Yerushalayim definitely did meet corporately in the temple (as long as the temple stood), however, notice the emphasis the Scripture places on the house to house ministry. The power of the intimate home setting is undeniable. The Scripture says they ate meals together with gladness, praising Elohim, and having favor with all the people - and the Master added to the assembly those who were being saved, day by day. 

No doubt, the growth factor was not so much with the large corporate settings, but the casual, intimate, home settings where people could relax and enjoy fellowship and testimonies. In the home setting, the Scripture says great favor was poured out and people were being saved day by day. So we feel led to shift the emphasis away from the larger corporate settings as the main growth engine, to the intimate home settings. Here’s the plan:

- We will train up Triumph Home Group Leaders who will host weekly Shabbat Gatherings in their homes. These groups will spread unbridled across the Metroplex and surrounding areas.

- We will resource these groups with a weekly video that will provide a full order of service that can be easily followed including worship, prayer, and Word. For more details take a look at Edition 5. 

- We will facilitate a weekly giving opportunity through the Triumph In Truth/Triumph Family phone app and the website. 

- We will provide video teachings to facilitate discipleship. 

- We will provide Torah Lifestyle videos to discuss the “how to” principles of living the Torah life. 

For eight weeks we will meet in home meetings in the intimate, casual setting and on the ninth week we will bring all our home groups together for a weekend long family reunion. We will rent a conference space from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon and have a wonderful family celebration throughout the weekend. This celebration will include anointed worship and word, food and fellowship, prayer and dancing, discipleship teachings, youth and children’s ministries, and leadership training. It will be a wonderful time of corporate fellowship and celebration, but the real growth action will take place weekly in the homes in a casual setting of fellowship, eating meals, laughing, loving, and sharing testimonies.

We believe The Almighty will once again pour out His favor on us and people will be added to the body daily those who are being saved. With the emphasis being placed on home meetings, we will be able to funnel our tithes and offerings to spreading the “Whole Good News” of Yeshua and Torah around the world through our video teachings and resourcing our Triumph Home Groups in the Metroplex, across the country, and globally. 

This strategy certainly worked well in Yerushalayim in the first century and it will work for us today as well!
